Advanced Carbon Filtration
Softening removes hardness — our carbon media goes further. Every Aera system carries premium carbon that reduces chlorine and chloramines, organic chemicals and VOCs, unpleasant tastes and odors, and some heavy metals. The Signature blends carbon into the tank with the resin; the Reserve runs a dedicated carbon tank before the resin for the deepest reduction and highest capacity.
